Darkwind's Daily Millions (Tippy) is the foundation breeding bitch for Black Rock Kennels. Tippy is a Daily daughter from Daily's first litter. At Tippy's birth Daily thought she was taking care of matters as nature demanded. In biting through the umbilical cord Daily bit off the white tip of tippy's tail -- hence the name. Perhaps she should have been named Tipp-less, but anyway, that's just how things are.
Tippy has not yet started in the show ring. Her tail tip may prove to be a flaw many judges will not overlook despite the obvious quality of the rest of this coming-four-years-old bitch. The fall of 2002 is, however a tentative deadline for Tippy's coming out.
Meanwhile, Tippy improves on the strength of her mother's many qualities both in herself and through her pups. Her first breeding, to Rio was too close on the dam side and the pups, though decent enough, were not standouts. Her second litter by Barney in the fall of 2001 was a dramatic improvement, increasing bone and leg length while tempering Daily's "Big-bitch-in-charge" attitude -- a trait Tippy shares to a lesser degree. With Barney's advancing age and Tippy's prime-of-life strength she was bred agin in the spring of 2002. Pups were born in mid-May. From the litter a gorgeous blue boy -- Silver Bullet was kept and raised at both the Black Rock and Darkwind kennels.
Tippy was bred by and is co-owned with Robyn Powley. She was spayed in 2005 and is now an only dog in a pet home.
