Dame & Pacifico Pups
Week 3
The puppies have opened their eyes now and their ear flaps are starting to fold down into proper place. They can sort of sit up and walk without their bellies dragging the ground. But they still don't quite look the full-sized version of an Aussie. This week they start on "solid food," which is to say they'll be eating a mush of puppy food finely ground in a food processor and mixed with lots of warm water. Mostly, they'll be wearing the food, rather than eating it, but it will give Dame lots of extra snack time.

Left: In a photo we may all wish was never published a couple of years from now, BonnyLass is struggling through a particularly rough life-stage. Her head seems too heavy to hold up, her eyes are still in the very fuzzy stage and her ears haven't yet decided to work together.
