Ch. Borderbreeze Barnstormer from Darkwind (Barney) is perhaps the best known of the Border Collies associated with Black Rock. Barney's accomplishments in the breed ring and as a stud dog have contributed to the Border Collies' wide acceptance internationally. His steady but no-nonsense temperament and powerful build is reproduced in his puppies, making them outstanding foundation dogs and well as perfect pets.
Now 14 years old, Barney has even retired from the occassional Veteran's Class entry. But! He continues to stand at stud, his latest litter was born in early April 2004. Barney was imported from England by Robyn Powley of Darkwind reknown; she is his primary owner.
Barney left this world in late 2005. He was a great dog.
