Kohl is the fifth generation of Black Rock dogs decended from Ch. Wild Tyke from Odyssey CD, Storey's first Australian Shepherd champion. Whelped at co-owner and co-breeder Robyn Powley's house, Kohl was born already showing his strong neckline and solid angulation. Kohl quickly took to the show ring winning a Best of Breed Puppy at his first ASCA show. Like most Black Rock boys Kohl will take a number of years to mature into a show dog. In the meantime he is at home in Santa Fe with Owen and Don Gray.
