China came to Black Rock as the "pick of the litter" from her Hall of Fame parents. She was bred twice, producing litters of ten puppies both times. Black Rock's Wild Apatche Jewel was the only bitch kept intact to carry on the line. China was a consummate show dog though very late maturing. AKC recognition came along just in time for China. She finished in four shows with four majors -- 4 pts., 5, 5, and 5. As she was already seven years old when she finished, she continued to show as a veteran, winning several best of breeds and many best of opposite sex awards from that class. At her last show, at the age of ten, China defeated 42 other Aussies for the best of breed title.
